This month, Forehand Strike – an innovative, glove-infused net sport – will hold the Forehand Strike US Open showcasing the best Forehand Strike players in the world. Taking place December 20th at the Sports Haus in Norwalk, Connecticut, the Forehand Strike US Open will air nationally in a 30-minute tape delayed broadcast to 75 million households in the U.S. beginning January 1st, 2024. The networks include NESN TV, MASN TV, and Regional NBC TV outlets.
A new, innovative sport, Forehand Strike is the future of net sports and is already catching the attention of professional ATP players and many others across the country. Forehand Strike is unlike any other net sport only requiring the use of both hands and two gloves.
The Forehand Strike US Open will be a three-person round robin event of the best Forehand Strike players in the world including former ATP pros and other racquet sport players who have mastered Forehand Strike. Round robin scoring will be the first player to 17 points (win by two) and will follow the same conventional tennis rules while using either hand. Culminating in a final, championship round of play on December 20th, players are competing for cash prizes and to win the inaugural Forehand Strike US Open trophy.
